Mizzou is back down to 14 commitments in its 2024 recruiting class.

Cam Dooley, an ATH prospect out of Alabama, announced Tuesday that he has decommitted from the Tigers.

Dooley verbally pledged to MU on July 1. He chose the Tigers over Kentucky and Vanderbilt when making his initial commitment. Last week, Dooley posted that Maryland extended a scholarship offer.

A standout of Valley (Alabama) High School, Dooley is listed as measuring 6-4, 195 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Dooley is rated 3-stars, the No. 42 recruit in the state of Alabama, No. 93 ATH and No. 1,005 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.

The ATH label is used for multi-position prospects. Eli Drinkwitz’s staff appeared to be recruiting Dooley as a defensive back.

Dooley currently has 7 scholarship offers. In addition to the schools mentioned, Georgia State, Tulane and UAB have also extended offers.

With 14 verbal pledges, Mizzou’s 2024 recruiting class currently ranks No. 45 nationally on the Composite. The Early Signing Period is set for Dec. 20-22.
