First, it was Dominic Lovett who left Missouri for the transfer portal.

Now, the Tigers will have to absorb another loss to their wide receivers’ room as senior Tauskie Dove will be entering the portal as a graduate transfer.

Dove announced his decision on Twitter on Thursday morning. He also announced in his Twitter post that he’ll still be playing in the Gasparilla Bowl against Wake Forest on Friday night.

The Denton, Texas, product arrived in Columbia as part of the 2018 signing class, along with Nick Bolton, Tyler Badie, Trajan Jeffcoat and Javon Foster.

In 4 years with the Tigers, Dove caught 86 passes for 1,164 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Dove’s production was a bit down this season, as he had only 16 catches for 240 yards and 1 touchdown. The year before, Dove had 38 catches for 576 yards.

During his up-and-down time in Columbia, Dove managed to become the 42nd Tiger in program history to reach 1,000 career receiving yards.

With Dove and Lovett gone, the Tigers will likely turn to sophomore-to-be phenom Luther Burden and Oklahoma transfer Theo Wease to lead the way at wideout.
