Eli Drinkwitz and Missouri continue to dominate the Battle Line Rivalry, as the Tigers notched their 6th win to become bowl eligible Friday.

Mizzou now holds an all-time 10-4 series lead over Arkansas and have won 6 of the last 7 games.

Quarterback Brady Cook continues to develop before our eyes, as the quarterback combined for 380 yards and 2 touchdowns in the game. Cook connected on crucial passes, and he torched Arkansas on the ground for 138 yards. Mizzou’s defense also created havoc for KJ Jefferson and Arkansas all game long. The Tigers also forced 2 Arkansas turnovers and never allowed the offense to get into much of a rhythm.

Following the game, Drinkwitz spoke with CBS Sports about the win.

On how Mizzou pulled the win off …

“Man, tribute to our players. They made big-time plays when they needed it. Our defense. Our punter punted a great one. Just a total team win.”

On bowl getting bowl eligibility …

“It’s been a hard-fought 12-round fight. I told them today, if we won the fight … we did it. We did it!”
