As any Alabama athletics fan will tell you, there is just a little extra juice that comes with beating Auburn – in anything. But in all three major sports?

The Crimson Tide baseball team completed a three-game series sweep of No. 5 Auburn on Sunday via a 3-1 victory, which also completed Alabama’s sweep of Auburn in football, men’s basketball and baseball in the 2025-26 academic year.

Alabama’s football team downed Auburn 27-20 in the annual Iron Bowl, the Tide men’s basketball team earned 96-92 and 96-84 Iron Bowl of Basketball victories and the Alabama baseball team won the first two games of the baseball series 11-1 and 3-2 earlier this weekend.

Alabama broke open Sunday’s game on the diamond in the eighth inning. Tied 1-1, Auburn reliever Garrett Brewer uncorked a wild pitch to score Alabama’s Justin Lebron and Will Plattner followed it up two batters later with an RBI single for a 3-1 lead.

Lebron also had an RBI single in the third inning. Auburn’s lone run Sunday came via Eric Guevara’s RBI single in the first inning.

Alabama reliever Matthew Heiberger (2-0) earned the victory, while Brewer (1-2) took the loss for Auburn. The Tigers mustered just two hits in the game and struck out eight times. Alabama managed only four hits and registered seven strikeouts.
