Arkansas is giving the ball to Landon Beidelschies with the season on the line.

Over 90 minutes before first pitch (7 p.m. ET), Beidelschies was named Arkansas‘s starter in its rematch with LSU. For Dave Van Horn’s Razorbacks, it’s another elimination game. An LSU loss would force a game on Thursday, in which the winner advances to the College World Series Finals against Coastal Carolina. The Tigers can move on with a win on Wednesday.

A transfer from Ohio State, Beidelschies joined Arkansas ahead of the 2025 season. The 6-3, 230-pound left-hander has made 28 starts in his career, including 12 with the Hogs.

This season, Beidelschies is 4-0 with a 4.92 ERA over 56.2 innings. He has allowed 32 runs (31 earned) on 56 hits, including 14 home runs. He has struck out 61 opposing batters this season while walking 19.

Beidelschies is making his first start since a rough outing at LSU on May 11. He pitched 2 innings in Baton Rouge, allowing 3 earned runs on 4 hits. The Razorbacks won the game 7-4.

Since the last start, Beidelschies has pitched twice in relief. On May 17, he allowed 2 earned runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings against Tennessee. He pitched 2 scoreless innings against North Dakota State on May 30.
