College baseball rankings: LSU headlines latest D1Baseball poll entering SEC Tournament

The latest college baseball rankings are out as we head toward the postseason and the start of the SEC Baseball Tournament on Tuesday.

On Monday, the folks at D1Baseball dropped their latest poll coming out of the final regular-season series of the season. LSU takes the top spot after ascending to No. 1 last week and wrapping up a series win at South Carolina on Saturday.

Texas, the No. 1 seed for the SEC Tournament, is now No. 2 after taking down Oklahoma in the regular season finale. The Longhorns previously spent time at No. 1 on the D1Baseball poll.

Arkansas was the other SEC team to wind up in the top 5 at No. 5 overall. The Razorbacks took 2 of 3 from Tennessee to end the year, with the Vols hanging onto a top 25 spot at No. 21 overall.

Despite how the regular season ended, the Vols still have the 2nd-best College World Series odds in the country, coming in at +700 via DraftKings.
