The 2025 College World Series is finally here, now that the Super Regional round is over as of Monday night.
In a stunning result, Murray State knocked off Duke in a decisive Game 3 at the Durham Super Regional. The Racers are now advancing to their first-ever appearance in Omaha after taking down a pair of host sites in Ole Miss and Duke to get there.
Now, the full field is set with the 8 remaining teams being split into 2 brackets for the CWS. In a disappointing move for the SEC, only 2 programs remain, and 1 of those squads will be sent to the loser’s bracket, with Arkansas and LSU set to face off on Saturday.
As for the favorite, the latest College World Series odds are giving Arkansas the edge in Omaha, with the Razorbacks listed at +195 via DraftKings. LSU is the next favorite at +230 with a steep drop to Coastal Carolina (+600) and Oregon State (+650) after those top two spots. Fans can grab the best sports betting apps to get into the action.
A win for either the Razorbacks or the Tigers would continue the SEC’s run of dominance after producing the last 5 CWS winners. A national title for Arkansas would be the program’s first-ever in baseball, while LSU is seeking its 2nd title in the past 3 seasons under Jay Johnson.
