Another week of the 2026 college baseball season is in the books, and a new SEC team has entered D1Baseball’s Top 25.
Ole Miss is the newest team to be ranked. The Rebels enter the poll at No. 25 after getting off to an 8-0 start with the latest sweep of Missouri State. That gives the SEC 12 teams in the new poll.
Nos. 1-5 in the D1Baseball Top 25 remained the same. That includes LSU, Texas and Mississippi State at Nos. 2-4.
Arkansas and Auburn each moved up 2 spots. The Razorbacks are now No. 6 with the Tigers right behind at No. 7.
Florida and Georgia also moved up in the rankings. The Gators are up 2 spots to No. 10, while the Bulldogs are at No. 11 after previously sitting at No. 14.
Oklahoma is one of the biggest climbers in the new rankings. The Sooners moved up from No. 21 to No. 13 after improving to 7-0.
Tennessee tumbled from No. 13 to No. 20 after dropping a home series to Kent State, making the Vols 5-2 on the year. Kentucky also slid from No. 18 to No. 22 after a 2-2 week.
Texas A&M had a 4-0 week to improve to 7-0 on the season. The Aggies moved up 1 spot, checking in at No. 23.
It’s early in the season, but some of these teams are sure to be bound for Omaha. Will the SEC extend its streak of College World Series winners? Check out the early action at prediction market Kalshi:
