After a wild Week 4, the new D1Baseball Top 25 is out, and there are some notable changes involving the SEC‘s 11 ranked teams.

LSU had been ranked No. 2 after Week 3. The Tigers, however, dropped 4 of 5 games in Week 4 to Northeastern, Louisiana and Sacramento State. The 1-4 showing has sent Jay Johnson’s team plummeting all the way down to No. 13.

The misfortune of LSU was good news for Texas and Mississippi State. The Longhorns and Bulldogs each moved up a spot, checking in at No. 2 and No. 3 in the new poll.

Arkansas and Auburn also moved up. The Razorbacks and Tigers are Nos. 6 and 7 behind No. 5 Georgia Tech.

Georgia and Oklahoma each moved up multiple spots. The Bulldogs and Sooners are now in the top 10 at Nos. 8 and 9.

Florida was riding a 13-game winning streak. That was snapped on Friday, however, by High Point. HPU also won Saturday to take the series, and the Gators needed a walk-off win Sunday to avoid the sweep at home. As such, Kevin O’Sullivan’s squad fell from No. 9 to No. 23.

Tennessee, Kentucky and Texas A&M all remained the same at Nos. 19, 21 and 22.
