Georgia baseball outfielder Henry Allen will miss the remainder of the 2026 season after suffering a knee injury on Friday against Missouri. According to a release by Georgia on Monday, Allen injured his knee while running to first base.
That’s a big loss for a great Georgia squad. Allen was one of 6 players with more than 13 home runs on the season and absolutely mashed baseballs, owning the Bulldogs’ longest and hardest hit home runs on the year.
He currently ranks 5th in hits (50), 4th in runs (42) and 4th in total bases (99) for one of the best hitting teams in baseball. For the season, Allen sits at 41 RBIs with a .321 average, .635 slugging percentage and .443 on base percentage.
Allen made 42 starts across 46 appearances for the No. 5 Bulldogs this season. 40 of those starts came in left field.

Georgia baseball is a force to be reckoned with right now. The Bulldogs just finished up an easy sweep of Mizzou and have won 6 games in a row dating back to last weekend’s series win over Ole Miss.
Georgia will be back in action this Friday as the Bulldogs take on LSU in their penultimate SEC series of the regular season.
