The 2023 McDonalds All-American game rosters have been announced and 6 of the players competing are currently committed to SEC schools.

Kentucky is the best represented, with 4 Wildcats commits combined on the 2 rosters. Arkansas and Auburn each have 1 commit as well. Kentucky’s 4 are the most of any school in the nation, with Duke 2nd at 3 and Michigan State, Oregon checked in with 2 apiece. Texas’ Ron Holland will also play in the game, set for March 28 in Houston, Texas.

Bronny James, who is currently undecided but to announce between USC, Ohio State and Oregon, will also be competing. LeBron James’ son will garner attention for his last name, but is also rated as the No. 34 player in the class.

The full list of SEC commits that will be competing is below. The remainder of the rosters can be found here.

  • DJ Wagner – Kentucky guard commit, East team
  • Reed Sheppard – Kentucky guard commit, West team
  • Aaron Bradshaw – Kentucky center commit, East team
  • Justin Edwards – Kentucky forward commit, East team
  • Baye Fall – Arkansas center commit, West team
  • Aden Holloway – Auburn guard commit, East team

USC’s Isaiah Collier is the highest-rated prospect set to compete, rated as the No. 1 player in the Class of 2023 per 247Sports’ composite rankings. Bradshaw, Edwards and Wagner are rated as No. 2, 3 and 4, respectively. Reed Sheppard is rated as No. 44, with Fall at No. 20 and Holloway at No. 24.

So yeah, maybe keep an eye on Kentucky hoops next season.
