Alabama basketball unveils ‘Crimson Tide’ alternate uniforms
Alabama has announced the return of its popular ‘Crimson Tide’ alternate uniform.
Alabama’s basketball program is set to don the throwback unis on Saturday when it faces South Carolina in Tuscaloosa.
The jerseys are white and feature the words ‘Crimon Tide’ across the chest. The shorts also have a basketball-specific Alabama logo on the front. Here’s a closer look:
Saturday’s game will mark the first time Alabama has worn these uniforms since the 2023-24 season.
It’s been a tumultuous year so far for Alabama, who has dealt with numerous injury issues as well as the Charles Bediako controversy. With Bediako no longer eligible, the Tide will be a bit shorthanded against the Gamecocks on Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
Still, Alabama will be expected to pick up its fourth consecutive win and further bolster its NCAA Tournament résumé. The Crimson Tide are currently 7-4 in the SEC standings and are still in the mix for the regular season title, but have very little margin-for-error remaining.
Tipoff against South Carolina is set for 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
