Sophomore forward Keitenn Bristow has officially announced his return to the Crimson Tide for the 2026-27 season. Bristow started his career at Tarleton State before transferring to Alabama last year.
Unfortunately for Bristow, he dealt with leg and ankle injuries throughout last year. The Texas native only appeared in 10 games for the Tide, with his final game being on Jan. 10 against Texas, where he logged 4 fouls in 6 minutes.
Bristow’s best game came in his first appearance for the Tide against Illinois. He totaled 10 points and 8 rebounds in 19 total minutes.
Bristow was a 3-star coming out of high school and rated as the 263rd player in the nation according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. After one season at Tarleton State, in which Bristow averaged 11.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists, he jumped into the portal, where he was rated as the 385th overall prospect.
On April 30, 2025, Bristow committed to play the next season at Alabama.
Bristow will play a big role in Alabama’s success next season, as the Tide will lose two of its top forwards from last year’s roster. Freshman Amari Allen is likely to stay in the draft if a first-round selection is likely, and junior forward Taylor Bol Bowen entered the transfer portal and committed to play next season at Oregon.
