The tip off of the 2026 college basketball season is right around the corner, and that means that teams around the country are gearing up for what they hope will be a run at March Madness glory come spring time.
Much like with college football, several big time players in the college hoops space have been engaged in ongoing legal battles against the NCAA in hopes of securing another year of eligibilty.
One of these names is former Auburn star Keyshawn Hall who was granted a temporary restraining order on Friday morning, making him immediately eligible to suit up for Rick Pitino and St John’s this season.
Originally an unranked recruit in the 2022 recruiting cycle, Hall committed to the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels out of high school and spent one season there before making the move to George Mason University.
He then transferred to UCF for a season before making the move to Auburn last year where he broke out as one of the top scorers in the SEC, averaging almost 20 points a game for the Tigers.
Now, he’ll be making the move to St. John’s in the hopes of chasing down a national championship during his final year at the college level.
