The Missouri Tigers have made the past two NCAA Tournaments under head coach Dennis Gates. Last year, as a No. 10 seed, they fell to No. 7 seed Miami (FL) despite essentially playing a home game in St. Louis.

Mizzou is eager to take the next step and advance in the Big Dance this season. World Wide Technology is equally as eager to assist their journey. On Monday, the Tigers and Learfield revealed WWT would be Missouri Basketball’s new jersey patch sponsor.

“We are proud to welcome World Wide Technology as a partner of Mizzou Athletics and Mizzou Basketball,” athletic director Laird Veatch said in a released statement. “[WWT’s] team [has] built an extraordinary company with a global reach and deep Missouri roots. When you have the opportunity to partner with a brand of WWT’s caliber, you put them at the top of your draft board.”

“WWT’s investment in our basketball programs demonstrates a strong belief in Mizzou and our commitment to competing for championships,” Veatch continued. “We’re excited to continue to build this partnership with an organization that shares our pride in Missouri and our ambition to demand excellence.”

Missouri’s men’s team begins its season vs. Cleveland State on Tuesday, Nov. 3 (8:00 p.m. ET). The Tigers’ women’s squad opens tonight vs. Howard (7:30 p.m. ET).
