Auburn basketball finally stopped the bleeding Saturday night, snapping a 5-game losing streak with a simply massive win over Kentucky. The Tigers, thanks to really tough strength of schedule, are still alive for a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

But first, they’ll need to keep stacking wins. And as Pearl mentioned earlier today, it starts at Oklahoma Tuesday night.

The Auburn head coach said multiple times that Oklahoma is “an incredibly dangerous team.” He specifically pointed to Oklahoma’s offensive numbers – especially their 3-point ability. The Sooners are shooting over 36.4% from range in SEC play this season, one of the best marks in the conference behind only Texas.

“They have our full attention,” Pearl said.

Here’s a look at the latest odds for Auburn to take down the Sooners on the road, per Kalshi.

While Oklahoma is a great offensive team, the Sooners leave a lot to be desired on the defensive end. Porter Moser’s squad is the very worst defensive team in the conference, with the 162nd-ranked unit per KenPom. However, home environments tend to act as a boon for the home defense – and Auburn has been among the most unpredictable teams in college basketball this season.

As it currently stands, because this is an away game for the Tigers, Tuesday night’s game is considered a Quad 1 opportunity. The Tigers have faced 16 Quad 1 opponents this season, more than any other team in college basketball.

Tuesday night’s game is set to tip off at 8 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
