Taylor Bol Bowen will play in the Big Ten next season. The former Alabama forward announced on Wednesday that he’ll transfer to Oregon to play his final season of college basketball.

Bol Bowen is the third outgoing Alabama transfer to decide on a landing spot for next season. Aiden Sherrell is going to Indiana while Jalil Bethea is committed to play for Pittsburgh.

Bol Bowen originally landed at Alabama by way of Florida State. He played 2 seasons in Tallahassee and averaged 8 points and 5 rebounds per game with the Seminoles during his sophomore season, sitting at 47% from the field and 41% from 3-point range. However, the intriguing numbers that brought him to Alabama faded against SEC competition.

The 6-10 forward really struggled offensively, hitting just 41% of his shot attempts from the floor. He started the season well, scoring 13 points against Purdue, 17 points against St. John’s and 12 points against Illinois, but finished multiple SEC games with zero points despite averaging around 15-20 minutes per game in league play.

Alabama has added 4 players this offseason thus far: Brandon Garrison (Kentucky), Cole CLoer (NC State), Jamarion Davis-Fleming (Mississippi State) and Drew Fielder of Boise State.
