Most FBS teams have now reached the halfway point of their seasons, and that means midseason awards are coming out.

On Thursday, ESPN named its midseason All-America team, and 10 SEC players were mentioned as standouts from the first 7 weeks.

As you can see below, LSU leads the way with 3 honorees, followed by Alabama and Kentucky with 2 apiece:

  • Joe Burrow, QB, LSU
  • Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
  • DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama
  • Andrew Thomas, OL, Georgia
  • Lynn Bowden Jr., All-purpose, Kentucky
  • Derrick Brown, DL, Auburn
  • Jonathan Greenard, DL, Florida
  • Xavier McKinney, DB, Alabama
  • Derek Stingley Jr., DB, LSU
  • Max Duffy, P, Kentucky

How many of these guys will be on the postseason All-America list? We’ll find out in a couple of months.
