16 SEC stars projected to go in Round 1 of CBS Sports’ latest 2020 NFL Mock Draft

The 2020 NFL Draft will be here before we know it, and that means a number of SEC stars will hear their names called in Round 1.

In CBS Sports writer Josh Edwards’ latest Round 1 mock draft, he has 16 SEC guys projected to go in the opening round of the draft.

As you can see below, he has Alabama leading the way with 6 first rounders, followed by LSU with 5:

  • No. 1 — Joe Burrow, QB, LSU — Cincinnati Bengals
  • No. 4 — Andrew Thomas, OL, Georgia — New York Giants
  • No. 6 — Jedrick Wills Jr., OL, Alabama — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 7 — Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 9 — Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 10 — Grant Delpit, S, LSU — Cleveland Browns
  • No. 13 — Derrick Brown, DL, Auburn — Indianapolis Colts
  • No. 14 — Kristian Fulton, DB, LSU — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 15 — Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama — Denver Broncos
  • No. 17 — Xavier McKinney, DB, Alabama — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 18 — K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 20 — Javon Kinlaw, DL, South Carolina — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 23 — Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU — Buffalo Bills
  • No. 24 — Alex Leatherwood, OL, Alabama — Minnesota Vikings
  • No. 26 — CJ Henderson, DB, Florida — Seattle Seahawks
  • No. 32 — D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia — Baltimore Ravens
