Tennessee won a recruiting battle against two of UT’s rivals on Wednesday night.

Preston Glasco is the newest verbal pledge to Josh Heupel‘s program. He made the announcement during a livestream with 247Sports.

Out of Loganville (Georgia) Grayson High School, Glasco is listed as measuring over 6-2 and 190 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Glasco is rated 3-stars, the No. 88 cornerback, No. 104 player in the Peach State and No. 883 prospect overall in the Class of 2027.

During his recruitment, Glasco picked up scholarship offers from 21 programs. Florida State, Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Oklahoma State are among the schools that showed interest.

For Wednesday’s announcement, however, Glasco had an all-SEC final 3. He chose the Vols over Alabama and Georgia.

With Glasco on board, Tennessee now has 19 verbal pledges in its 2027 class, which ranks No. 22 nationally on the Composite. Fans can get an idea of what Glasco brings to Rocky Top next year by checking out his highlight reel below:
