All totals via Underdog:
West Virginia QB Michael Hawkins higher than 142.5 passing yards
Michael Hawkins is off to a strong start this season, though he had a bit of a down week last time out against Oklahoma State. I think this number is priced at 142.5 because West Virginia doesnโt throw the ball much โ Hawkins is only averaging about 15 pass attempts per game with the Mountaineers. However, his volume has been closer to 20 against P4 opposition and heโs also been very efficient with his opportunities. Hawkins has a boom-or-bust profile โ his passing success rate has been low but his average depth of target and his CPOE on deep passes are both exceptionally high. Heโs facing an Iowa State defense that ranks 56th nationally in pass defense efficiency rating.

South Carolina RB Matt Fuller Fuller higher than 27.5 receiving yards
This is a bit of a scary pick because South Carolina running back Matthew Fuller does not have much history of being a receiving threat prior to his last 2 outings. Heโs caught 12 passes over the past 2 weeks after making just 7 receptions over his prior 12 games combined. However, per PFF, heโs averaging about 25 routes run per contest against P4 opposition this year โ up from about 7 per game in 2025. Heโs also been very efficient with 2.06 yards per route run in those games. With a new offensive coordinator running the show, I think this could be a case of a role change for Fuller that the market is not currently pricing in.
Baylor WR Gavin Freeman lower than 89.5 receiving yards
The case here is pretty simple for the Baylor receiverโ Gavin Freemanโs season average is about 91 yards per game but that total is inflated by outlier performances against Auburn (154 yards) and Prairie View A&M (104 yards). The Auburn performance was impressive, but heโs not had a game anywhere close to that since Week 1 (especially against FBS opposition). Baylorโs implied team total for this game is about 23 points, which is on the low side. Freeman also had an ADOT of just 5.4 in Week 4 with DJ Lagway back in the lineup.
