This year, the SEC men’s basketball season has been more exciting than past seasons, as several teams have taken major steps forward.

As many as nine SEC squads could work their way into the NCAA Tournament, and there have been plenty of exciting players emerging as some of the nation’s best.

On Wednesday, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced the 30 late-season finalists for the Citizen Naismith Trophy, which can be found here. Three SEC players made the cut:

  • Bryce Brown, G, Auburn
  • Kevin Knox, F, Kentucky
  • Collin Sexton, G, Alabama

Sexton and Knox are likely to be first-round picks in the 2018 NBA Draft, while Brown, a junior, will have a big decision to make about his future.

The season is getting down to crunch time, and it’ll be interesting to see which of these three players has the best finish to the 2018 campaign.
