4-star 2018 OT Dylan Wonnum follows in brother’s footsteps, commits to South Carolina

Heading into Saturday, 4-star 2018 OL Dylan Wonnum was down to South Carolina and Tennessee as his final two schools.

Considering his older brother, D.J., is a star for the Gamecocks’ defense, recording six sacks and 13 tackles for a loss in 2017, it’s not surprising that the younger Wonnum decided to follow his brother to Columbia.

Dylan announced his decision via Twitter on Saturday evening, as you can see in the video below:

According to the 247Sports composite, Wonnum is the No. 13 tackle in the class of 2018 and the No. 22 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

The Gamecocks now have 22 players in their 2018 recruiting class — 12 enrolled, seven signed and three commits. Per 247Sports, the group ranks No. 7 in the SEC and No. 20 nationally.
