The end of the regular season is going to be a wild one in the SEC, especially after Auburn lost to Florida on Saturday, leaving the door open for Tennessee to swoop in for a conference title.

Meanwhile, lower in the standings, several squads are battling for position heading into the SEC Tournament and trying to add wins to their resume to stay in the NCAA Tournament picture.

In CBS Sports expert Jerry Palm’s latest bracketology, eight SEC teams are included, highlighted by Auburn maintaining a No. 2 seed and Tennessee climbing to a No. 3 seed:

  • No. 2 — Auburn
  • No. 3 — Tennessee
  • No. 5 — Kentucky
  • No. 7 — Arkansas
  • No. 9 — Texas A&M
  • No. 10 — Florida
  • No. 10 — Mizzou
  • No. 11 — Alabama

Obviously, this means Texas A&M, Florida, Mizzou and Alabama are clinging to life as we head into March, but there are chances remaining for all four teams to solidify their March Madness standing.
