AJ McCarron blasts Hugh Freeze over House Settlement comments: He’s ‘full of sh-t’

AJ McCarron is not buying Hugh Freeze‘s assessment of the post-House Settlement recruiting landscape, and the former Alabama quarterback is not sugarcoating.
Last week, Freeze said that Auburn is making low compensation offers to recruits because the program is following the guidelines set by the House Settlement, suggesting other schools are not following the new rules. Many fans did not accept the House guidelines as a reason for Auburn’s lack of verbal commitments.
Paul Finebaum shredded Freeze. Lane Kiffin trolled Freeze by calling attention to a social media post about golf. McCarron is the latest notable SEC name to pile on the Auburn coach.
“Hugh Freeze is full of shit,” McCarron said on The Dynasty podcast. “I think Hugh Freeze is trying to do whatever he can to save face. He’s starting to feel pressure at Auburn – going into his third year, not having the success that the alumni, the boosters, everybody donating a lot of money thought he would have by this point. I think he’s trying to figure out and scramble on why they are not successful.”

Last week, Freeze suggested Auburn is playing by the House settlement rules while others aren't. @10AJMcCarron isn't buying it.#RollTide pic.twitter.com/PSSft61dQu
It’s no surprise that a former Alabama quarterback chose not to hold back given an opportunity to rip an Auburn coach. The Iron Bowl rivalry never sleeps.
McCarron has been grabbing some headlines with his takes shared on The Dynasty. He recently took aim at the “stupidity” of comments made by Florida State QB Thomas Castellanos about facing Alabama.
