Alabama just made a significant addition to its 2027 recruiting class.
The Crimson Tide have earned a commitment from 3-star edge rusher Jeremiah Beverly. The talented pass rusher is from Tuscaloosa — he attends Hillcrest High School and will be staying home for college.
News of his commitment was first shared with Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett on Friday morning.
Alabama initially offered Beverly a scholarship earlier this month, so his recruitment moved relatively quickly once the Crimson Tide showed significant interest.

Beverly is currently ranked as the No. 629 overall player and the No. 53 edge rusher in the nation for the class of 2027, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 25 player from the state of Alabama.
Beverly is listed at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds. His other power-conference offers include Cincinnati and Wake Forest.
Alabama is now up to 12 commits in the class of 2027. The Tide’s high school recruiting class is led by 5-star quarterback Elijah Haven. Overall, the group ranks No. 63 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
The Early Signing Period for the class of 2027 is slated for December.
