The No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide are coming off a massive bounce-back win against the Texas A&M Aggies in Week 8, overcoming a fourth-quarter deficit to snap their 2-game losing skid and keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.
Head coach Kalen DeBoer and the rest of the Crimson Tide coaching staff wasted little time converting their success on the field last Saturday into success on the recruiting trail, landing a commitment from in-state center Xavier Endicott on Monday.
Currently listed as a 3-star recruit and the No. 84 player in the state for 2027, Endicott received an offer from Alabama this past weekend during his official visit with the Crimson Tide.
The 6’4″, 280-pound Alabama native jumped at the opportunity to play for his home state’s flagship program immediately, telling Yea Alabama that he “loves the coaches and the environment” in Tuscaloosa and the “standard that the players are held to.”
Endicott marks the 16th commitment for the Crimson Tide in 2027 so far, joining a group that currently ranks No. 34 overall nationally and No. 14 overall in the SEC. With a little over a month left until early national signing day, DeBoer and his staff still hope to add several other highly rated high school seniors to the fold before things are all said and done.
