Alabama PG Kira Lewis Jr. updates NCAA transfer portal status

When Alabama fired coach Avery Johnson, many of his players understandably took the news hard. In fact, four of them entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.
One of those players was talented young PG Kira Lewis Jr., who showed flashes of brilliance despite being only 17 this season.
As you can see below, he is apparently on board with the Nate Oats era. He tweeted on Monday evening that he was returning to Alabama:

That’s a big win for Oats, who has made a positive impact already since making the move to Tuscaloosa.
Last season, Lewis averaged 13.5 points and 2.9 assists per game. With a year of experience under his belt, he should be even better in 2019-20.
