Alabama’s final availability report is out, as the Crimson Tide take on Tennessee in the latest chapter of the Third Saturday in October rivalry.
There’s possible good news in store for tight end Josh Ford. He was listed as questionable on Friday’s availability report but has been upgraded to a game-time decision. Ford recorded a touchdown catch during a 49-18 win over South Carolina on Sept. 26.
For linebacker Justin Hill, it’s even better news. After being listed as probable on Friday, Hill was not on Saturday’s report, meaning he will be able to give it a go against the Volunteers. The sophomore hasn’t played since Week 3’s 50-36 win over Florida State on Sept. 19 while he has dealt with what’s been termed a “lower-extremity injury.”
Some big names will not see the field for the Tide in Knoxville, though. At the top of the list is wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams. Coleman-Williams was declared out after playing through a knee injury against Georgia. He was also placed in concussion protocol after a helmet-to-helmet hit in the fourth quarter.
Alabama will also be without center Racin Delgatty. After suffering a knee injury against the Bulldogs, Delgatty was listed as questionable on Wednesday but downgraded to doubtful on Thursday and eventually to out on Friday.
