Alabama’s Dijon Lee gave the Crimson Tide an early 7-0 lead against Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon.

Lee picked off Marcel Reed and took it back to the house approximately 40 yards for a score. He jumped the route, getting just in front of the intended target.

Alabama‘s defense has made a habit of scoring touchdowns this season. This is the 5th pick-6 for the Crimson Tide in just 7 games. It’s the second for Lee, who previously returned an interception for a touchdown against Mississippi State back on Oct. 3.

Alabama is looking to get back in the win column this weekend after losing in each of the prior two weeks.

Likewise, Texas A&M is in the midst of a disastrous campaign and needs a big win to get back on track. The Aggies are 1-3 in SEC play entering Week 8.

Reed also threw an interception on Texas A&M’s next drive, giving him 8 interceptions on the year. It’s unclear at this time whether or not head coach Mike Elko would consider a quarterback change midseason.

Texas A&M has not win in Tuscaloosa since Johnny Manziel led the Aggies to an upset win back in 2012.
