Alabama has had the commitment from the No. 1 overall recruit forย 2017, but that doesn’t mean it will still have it when it’s all said and done.
Harris, who made his pledge to the Crimson Tide all the way back in the team’s annual A-Day game back in April 2015, told ESPN’s Erik McKinneyย that going to Tuscaloosa isn’t a done deal yet.
“I’m still open to everybody,” Harris told McKinney this pastย weekend at the Pylon Elite 7v7 Las Vegas tournament. “Anything can happen.”
The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder from Antioch, Ca., recently jumped long-time No. 1 overall prospect, linebacker Dylan Moses, to become the consensus No. 1 in 247Sports’ composite rankings about two weeks ago.
According to McKinney, Harrisย plans onย visiting a couple big-name schools in his backyard in UCLA and USC in the near future. He’ll also be visitingย Ohio State on April 14 and could also travel to Texas A&M.
