Arch Manning, Garrett Nussmeier appear in hilarious Raising Cane’s ad
Arch Manning and Garrett Nussmeier are rooming together at the Manning Passing Academy in Louisiana this week. They are 2 of the SEC’s highest-profile quarterbacks heading into the 2025 season but instead of a rivalry, it looks more like a budding friendship.
They both appeared in a new ad campaign from Raising Cane’s this week, starring alongside Cooper and Archie Manning — Arch’s father and grandfather, respectively. The family dynamics were on full display for Arch, and Nussmeier’s own father was in on a few jokes.

If the 2 Louisiana quarterbacks do, indeed, become close friends, that would make for a pretty remarkable side story for the upcoming college football season. Manning and Nussmeier are viewed not just as 2 of the best quarterbacks in the SEC, but 2 of the best quarterbacks in the country. The latest Heisman Trophy odds suggest Manning and Nussmeier are the leading favorites to win the award. Manning’s Texas team is the favorite (+260) to win the SEC at DraftKings. Nussmeier’s LSU squad is +800.
Both teams have favorable odds to make the Playoff. They could meet in an SEC Championship game. The 2 quarterbacks could travel to New York City together as Heisman finalists.
They’ll just have to make sure Doug Nussmeier OKs his son’s food orders ahead of time.
