Defensive staff changes continue at Arkansas. Cornerbacks coach Dominique Bowman is reportedly leaving after a season on Sam Pittman’s staff.

FootballScoop’s John Brice describes Bowman’s departure as parting ways to pursue other opportunities:

Dominique Bowman, who’s gone from Memphis, Tennessee-area, high school defensive coordinator to rising-star Power 5 assistant coach in just a few years, is parting ways with the University of Arkansas to pursue additional coaching opportunities, multiple sources tell FootballScoop.

There have been numerous changes to the Hogs’ defensive staff in the last month. Former defensive coordinator Barry Odom left to take the UNLV head coaching job in December. Travis Williams has been hired as the new defensive coordinator for the Razorbacks. The Hogs have also added former Florida State defensive backs coach Marcus Woodson as co-defensive coordinator. Williams and Woodson worked together at Auburn.

Bowman, who turns 38 in February, has been in coaching since 2014. He arrived at Arkansas after coaching cornerbacks at Marshall in 2021.
