Arkansas receives commitment from safety out of Alabama

Arkansas is up to 17 commitments in the Class of 2024 after it received a pledge from Jeremy Cook of Hoover, Alabama.

The Razorbacks hosted Cook on an unofficial visit at Saturday’s Hogwild Hangout recruiting event in Fayetteville. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound athlete shared his decision on Monday on social media.

Cook held offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Southern Miss, Alcorn State and South Alabama, but Arkansas was the first to offer. He was recruited to Arkansas by Scott Fountain and Marcus Woodson.

To bolster the class, Cook is the second safety after 4-star athlete Julius Pope of Batesville, Mississippi (South Panola). This is also the 4th recruit from the state of Alabama for the Class of 2024. Cook has not received a rating or ranking from 247Sports.

Cook gives Arkansas 8 commitments on the defensive side of the ball.
