Arkansas is looking for an improved offensive line in 2024, and after a new position coach has come aboard, the Razorbacks on Wednesday saw a freshman offensive lineman reportedly enter the transfer portal.
Joey Su’a, a true freshman from Bentonville, Arkansas, is the latest Hog to enter the portal, the 13th Razorback scholarship player to enter the transfer portal, according to Mason Choate. Su’a did not play this past season.
Su’a joins Devon Manuel as the second offensive lineman to enter the portal from Arkansas. Su’a will have 4 years of eligibility remaining at his next program.
At the time of Su’a’s commitment 2 years ago in September, Su’a was listed at 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds. He was pegged by 247Sports as the No. 2 player in Arkansas, and the No. 5 player overall in this class. He had a reported 9 offers, and at that point, Arkansas had the No. 8 class in America for 2023, and the No. 4 class in the SEC.
Su’a chose Arkansas over the likes of BYU, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan State and Oregon, according to his Arkansas bio.
