Arkansas sees veteran DL return to transfer portal after 1 season with Hogs

After 1 season at Arkansas, Anthony “Tank” Booker Jr. will look to finish his college football career elsewhere. Booker is reportedly going back to the transfer portal to find a new home for 2024.
Booker joined Arkansas ahead of the 2023 campaign, arriving from Maryland. The veteran defensive lineman has 1 remaining season of eligibility.

Booker appeared in 11 games for Arkansas off the bench in 2023. He recorded 19 tackles on the season, including 2 for loss. Booker logged 5 tackles, his season-high, against Auburn and was credited with a half sack in the Kent State game.
Booker’s first transfer came after 4 seasons at Maryland. Graduates are able to transfer a second time with immediate eligibility.
At Maryland, Booker played in 30 games for the Terrapins. His most productive season came in 2022, when he made 13 appearances, including 2 starts. Booker logged 27 tackles, including 17 solo stops and 5 TFLs, with 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 pass breakup, all career highs, in the 2022 campaign.
