Levi Draper’s Arkansas career is in jeopardy after suffering another shoulder injury during fall camp.

Arkansas coach Sam Pittman said on Thursday that “he’s done” after battling through an injury-plagued career at Oklahoma and with the Razorbacks.

โ€œI actually called him in to talk to him about it because heโ€™s already had three surgeries in his career, two last year,” Pittman told reporters on Thursday, via WholeHogSports.

โ€œHis shoulder went out and he has, with my blessing โ€” basically I talked to him about it โ€” and heโ€™s medical redshirting, so heโ€™s done.”

Draper transferred from Oklahoma before the 2020 season, but did not play after the Razorbacks’ season-opener last year due to a shoulder injury. He was originally a linebacker, but moved to tight end earlier this fall.

Pittman said Draper would be a medical redshirt this season, and indicated that he would remain on scholarship. He’s not expected to count against Arkansas’ scholarship limit.

Draper was a 4-star prospect in the class of 2017, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. That service ranked him as the No. 5 overall inside linebacker in the country for that cycle.

Arkansas opens its 2021 season against Rice on Sept. 4.
