Auburn earned multiple top commitments from wide receivers in the class of 2027 on Tuesday.
First, the Tigers landed 4-star wide receiver Deshawn Hall, beating out Penn State for his commitment. Next was 3-star receiver Cedrick Simmons, who also had offers from some of the best programs in the country.

Hall is an elite wide receiver prospect. He’s currently ranked as the No. 185 overall player and the No. 25 receiver in the country for the class of 2027, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 9 player from the state of Alabama.
Hall attends Prattville High School, which is located less than 100 miles from Jordan-Hare Stadium. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 185 pounds.
Simmons is also an Alabama product โ he attends Selma High School in Selma, Alabama. He’s the No. 629 overall player and the No. 24 player from the state of Alabama.
Auburn now has 23 commits in its 2027 recruiting class. The Tigers are up to No. 9 in the national rankings, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
