The Auburn Tigers lost a key player from their 2020 class on Friday morning, as a 4-star defensive end decided to reopen his recruitment.

Georgia native Andy Boykin, who plays for Troup County High School, announced on Friday that he’s going to look at other schools.

As you can see in the tweet below, Boykin said he wants to take his time with this upcoming major decision:

According to the 247Sports composite, Boykin is the No. 12 strong-side defensive end in the class of 2020 and the No. 19 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

Boykin was a major target for the Georgia Bulldogs before committing to Auburn back in November, so it’ll be interesting to see if the Dawgs get back in the mix in the coming weeks and months.
