The disappointing results of 2025 have not dampened fans’ anticipation for a new era of Auburn football. On Wednesday, AU announced that a program-record 83,043 season tickets were sold for the 2026 season.

There’s plenty of excitement on The Plains for Year 1 of Alex Golesh‘s tenure.

The 83,043 number combines public season tickets (63,500) and student season ticket sales. Jordan-Hare Stadium has a listed capacity of 88,403.

Auburn’s Wednesday announcement notes that home games against Florida, Vanderbilt and LSU are completely sold out. AU’ home schedule also includes Southern Miss (Sept. 12), Arkansas (Nov. 7) and Samford (Nov. 21).

There was originally a 7th home game on the 2026 schedule. Auburn and Baylor played in Waco to open last season, but will play at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta this year, a decision made in October 2025. Auburn athletic director John Cohen cited an NIL compensation offer as one of the reasons for moving the game from Auburn to Atlanta.
