Big Noon Kickoff made sure to give Lee Corso a quick “tip of the headgear” to pay tribute to his final Saturday with College GameDay.
Four members of the crew – Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart, Mark Ingram and Urban Meyer – took a moment to don some headgear from their respective pasts. Quinn put on a Leprechaun hat, Leinart featured a Trojan war helmet, Ingram sported an Alabama helmet and Meyer, looking just like Corso, styled a Brutus Buckeyes head.
Of course, Corso is well known for donning his own head gear while making picks at the end of the show, each and every college football Saturday across the past 38 years.

Obviously, this is a bittersweet day for college football fans. Corso is a legend and made College GameDay into what it is today, and it’ll be quite strange to see it go on after 38 years of memories.
Big Noon Kickoff is currently on-site in Columbus, Ohio ahead of what could very well be the biggest game of the early season. Arch Manning and No. 1 Texas travel to Ohio to face Julian Sayin and the No. 3 Buckeyes.
