LSU is preparing for a massive Week 5 games against Ole Miss this upcoming weekend.

LSU‘s road win over Clemson has aged like milk rather than wine, so a victory in Oxford could prove vitally important come late November. Brian Kelly knows this, and will be doing all he can to get the Tigers over the hump on Saturday afternoon.

Fortunately, per his Monday press conference, he should have some important players — including linebacker West Weeks — back for the game. However, LSU will be missing defensive end Gabriel Reliford, though, who may need surgery on his shoulder.

Meanwhile, tight end Trey’Dez Green is expected to play and running back Caden Durham received a positive initial diagnosis on his injury.

Weeks, a redshirt senior, picked up a calf strain versus Florida in Week 3. He missed LSU’s Week 4 victory over Southeastern Louisiana due to the injury.

Green sat out the Tigers’ wins against the Gators and Lions with a knee issue. The 6-foot-7, 244-pound tight end’s return will be helpful to Garrett Nussmeier, particularly when LSU gets in the red zone. Running back Caden Durham would also aid Nussmeier’s offense on Saturday, but his availability appears to be up in the air. The Tigers’ leading rusher hurt his ankle in Week 4.

Saturday’s kickoff between LSU and Ole Miss is set for 3:30 p.m. E.T. on ABC.
