One of the biggest games of the SEC calandar is on deck this Saturday, with the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs preparing to hit the road for a showdown against the No. 10 Ole Miss Rebels at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

This will mark the fifth meeting between the Dawgs and Rebels in the past four seasons, with both programs looking to strengthen their respective SEC and College Football Playoff resumes with a statement victory over the other.

Few people are more familiar with both programs than Brian Kelly, and the former head coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and LSU Tigers joined CBS Sports HQ on Wednesday afternoon to make his prediction for this heavyweight SEC showdown.

“They (Ole Miss) believe they can beat Georgia,” Kelly said. “They beat them before, 2 out of 3, I just think that there is that belief. They’re at home, you talked about running (Trinidad) Chambliss, I think they’ll run him more, he’s going to be big part of this offense, not just throwing the ball. I like them to win this game.”

There’s little doubt that Chambliss and the Rebels have had the upper hand against Georgia in recent meetings, and Kirby Smart‘s 0-2 record in Oxford is another significant factor heading into what could be the biggest game of the year for both programs.

Kelly is riding the hot hand and picking the Rebels, but it will be interesting to see whether or not Smart and the Bulldogs can get revenge against the team that eliminated them from the College Football Playoff last January in the Sugar Bowl.
