LSU center Braelin Moore went down on the first play with an ankle injury in LSU’s game against Louisiana Tech and was unable to return.

His status for Week 3 had been questioned, but LSU gave a positive update on his health on Thursday. Head coach Brian Kelly told reporters Moore is good to go for the Florida game. Moore took all the first-team reps at practice on Thursday, Kelly said.

Moore is a huge part of the LSU offensive line, which gave up 3 sacks last week in his absence.

Moore signed with the Tigers in December of 2024 after spending his first three seasons with the Virginia Tech Hokies. In his time with Virginia Tech, Moore appeared in 28 games and started in 24 of those games. In 2023, Moore started 12 games at left guard. In 2024, Moore also had 12 starts, this time at center.

LSU will need Moore as they face a hungry Florida team. Florida is coming off a loss to USF and will look to bounce back with a win against the No. 3 team in the country.

Kickoff for LSU versus Florida is set for Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET underneath the lights of Death Valley.
