Byrum Brown and Auburn went to Athens to take on the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. The Bulldogs entered the game coming off an impressive win at Alabama last week. However, it is the Tigers that took a 2-possession lead in the middle of the third quarter, as Brown outran multiple Georgia defenders to the endzone.
The game appeared to be going to be a rout early in the game, as the Bulldogs took an early 14-point lead. However, Brown was able to keep his team in the game, and the Tigers scored 24 unanswered points after his rushing touchdown.

Brown came over with Alex Golesh from USF last year, and these types of plays are the exact reason why Golseh brought him in. He is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in college football, and has given the Auburn offense a spark it hasn’t had in quite some time.
The game is called the ‘Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry’, and a win in this game would be a monster step for the Tigers in Golesh’s first year. They may need a couple more big plays from Brown to go out and secure the victory.
