Cameron Dicker has quickly become one of the best kickers in the NFL after a great collegiate career, and he added to his resume on Sunday. The Los Angeles Chargers were in a big AFC West battle with their division rival Denver Broncos in a game that determined who was going to be in first place after Week 3. It was a back-and-forth game, and the Chargers had the ball last.

Justin Herbert was able to lead the Chargers into field goal range, and Dicker knocked in a 43-yard kick as time expired to give the Chargers the 23-20 win.

Dicker went 3-for-3 on Sunday, and is now 98-of-104 in his career. He is the most accurate kicker in the history of the NFL, as he has made 94.2% of his kicks.

It is a major improvement, as he wasn’t nearly the accurate during his time as a Longhorn. He played at Texas from 2018-2021, where he made only 75.9% of his kicks. He did make major strides his senior year, as he went 13-of-15.

The Chargers are atop the AFC West, and are in the driver’s seat right now in the division as every other team in the division has at least two losses.
