Abbington, a JUCO transfer, was listed as Mizzou’s largest running back at 6-foot-2 and nearly 215 pounds.

Interestingly, according to Pete Scantlebury, 18 of the 40 signees from the 2012-13 signing class did not finish their careers in Columbia.

Abbington played in 10 games in 2015, rushing for 39 yards on six carries. Rising junior Ish Witter returns as Mizzou’s leading rusher. He recorded 518 rushing yards on 126 carries and one touchdown.
