Chris Doering breaks down Florida vs. Ole Miss, explains what both teams need to do to win

Ole Miss was flying high after a Week 3 win over Lane Kiffin and LSU. Florida will now be looking to sour the mood of the Rebels.
The Gators, sitting at 3-0 in Jon Sumrall‘s first season in charge, host the Rebels at the Swamp on Saturday as Pete Golding‘s team looks to stay perfect. Trinidad Chambliss will have his sights set on continuing what’s been an early boost to his Heisman Trophy hopes and Ole Miss‘s College Football Playoff aspirations. Aaron Philo and Jadan Baugh, however, will look to deliver a signature win for Sumrall.
If the Rebels are to win, it will come down to what happens in the trenches, Chris Doering said on the Talk of Champions podcast on Thursday. Specifically, they’ll need to stop Baugh, who, as Doering pointed out, has run for 100 yards or more in four straight games. Emmitt Smith, Fred Taylor, and Eric Redd are the only other Florida running backs to have done so.
“That’s got to be paramount for Ole Miss’ defense, is to stop him and see if Aaron Philo’s as effective as he’s been so far when he’s the guy that has to win the ballgame for you, and you get him under some pressure,” Doering said.
Florida, meanwhile, has an opportunity to exploit what Doering noted as “susceptibilites” in the Ole Miss secondary.
“LSU wasn’t able to exploit it. I think Florida will have a chance to do that,” he said. “They’ve also got to find a way to make Trinidad feel uncomfortable. That third-down blitz that LSU brought, I think it was a case of Trinidad maybe trying to do a little too much there.”
