The Texas A&M Aggies made their mark on the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, as wide receiver KC Concepcion was selected Thursday by the Cleveland Browns with the No. 24 overall pick.
Concepcion was the second player taken by the Browns in the first round, as Cleveland vaulted from No. 9 to No. 6 to take Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano. The No. 24 pick originally belonged to the Jacksonville Jaguars, who dealt it along with several picks to acquire Travis Hunter in 2025.
Concepcion spent his first two seasons at NC State before he transferred to Texas A&M ahead of the 2025 season. In his lone season in College Station, Concepcion totaled 61 receptions for 919 yards and nine touchdowns while adding 10 carries for 75 yards and a touchdown.

Concepcion joins a Cleveland receiving corps that features Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman, as well as young players such as Isaiah Bond, Luke Floriea and Gage Larvadain. The Browns also signed Tylan Wallace in free agency, tendered Jamari Thrash to bring back depth to room in March and had signed Isaiah Wooden to a reserve/futures contract in January.
Texas A&M is well represented on Cleveland’s roster, as superstar defensive end Myles Garrett and punter Nik Constantinou also played in College Station.
