Colin Simmons demolished on social media for bizarre ‘simulating using the restroom’ penalty

Colin Simmons just drew one of the dumbest penalty flags you will ever see.
The Texas Longhorns star made a massive play on 3rd down with the ball spotted deep in Tennessee territory, sacking Vols quarterback Faizon Brandon to bring up 4th down. At least, it would have been 4th down for Tennessee if Simmons didn’t do what he did next.

The bizarre unsportsmanlike conduct penalty gave Tennessee a fresh set of downs and kept Texas from receiving the ball with excellent field position. The Vols gained a few first downs after the penalty, but a stout Longhorns defense forced a turnover-on-downs as the Vols attempted to convert a 4th and 7 from Texas’ 35 — just outside the range of Vols kicker Cooper Ranvier with the wind at his face.
While it didn’t lead to any Vols points, Simmons’ penalty still kept Texas from adding another score before the end of the second quarter. The Longhorns lead Tennessee 10-3 at the halftime break.
